The Grace of God

Today, driving into downtown Vancouver, we drove along the "famed" Hastings Street.

Famed for it's population of cheap hookers, crack addicts and homelessness but also the original downtown (Hastings & Main) of yesteryear.

Though the picture doesn't reveal it, along East Hastings you will find the poorest of the poor, the saddest of the sad and the lowliest of the low; not a recommended tourist destination.

Hopefully soon Vancouver will figure out what is needed to be done to help these poor souls. And as my mother used to say, "There, but for the grace of God, go I."
