What you are seeing in this photograph is a teeny tiny example of the blackberry bushes around here, loaded with fruit.

There is an abundance of berries so is it any wonder we are picking so many?

Blackberries grow like weeds here in BC and are often unwelcome by gardeners and farmers.

However for fruit lovers like us, they are a delight!
