Yesterday we rode our motorcycle out to the Craters of the Moon National Monument in Idaho.
We were amazed at the mass of lava and enjoyed walking on some of the many trails in the park.
What is even more amazing is that somehow trees, shrubs and plant life have managed to grow in the huge, seemingly lifeless lava rock.
Nature is a wondrous thing!
