This morning we were on the road at 6:00 AM and what at first it appeared to be fog, evidently was smoke. The air had a distinctly charred smell to it and though we couldn't see the source of it, we knew there was a fire burning not too far away.
It gave the Montana landscape an eerie though quite beautiful appearance.
