It is at this time of year that pomegranates are in season and in this part of the world they are readily available for a reasonable price. The Costco store in Palm Desert carries packaged pomegranate seeds which we use in salads and they are delicious, as well as being healthy.
One of my favourite treats is to peel a pomegranate and eat the ruby red seeds and tonight I managed to make time to do so. Mmmmm!
