Yesterday we ventured up to Twenty Nine Palms for coffee and breakfast. We checked out the 29 Palms Inn and after our meal walked around the property where we came across a pond.
Because of the frigid weather the pond had a skiff of ice on it, enough to confuse the ducks who quite likely have never experienced ice before.
They did seem a little bewildered!
